New Conflict of Interest Agreement and Resources Now Available

A new mandatory form, the Agreement Regarding Conflict of Interest Between Clients, is now available on the Real Estate Council’s Licensee Knowledge Base. Visit the Knowledge Base to find the form, along with additional resources to help you understand when and how to use this agreement:

The Agreement Regarding Conflict of Interest Between Clients provides an option for licensees to resolve conflicts of interest involving two current clients, where continuing to act for both clients would amount to prohibited “dual agency”.

Check back frequently – we will be continuing to update the Knowledge Base with more tools and resources to support you in the weeks ahead.

We're Listening: Accelerated Registration for Rules Course

Since announcing the registration schedule for Rule Changes: Agency and Disclosure last week, we’ve heard from licensees who are eager to take this new mandatory course as soon as possible. You’ve told us you wish you could get the registration link earlier.

We’ve listened to your feedback and worked with our education partners at the UBC Sauder School of Business to develop an accelerated notification schedule. You can find the new schedule on our Relicensing Education Program page. Select the How to Register tab.

Not able to take the course right away? Check out the many resources in RECBC’s Licensee Knowledge Base. You'll find everything you need to know about the new rules (and it's a great way to prepare for the course!)
